When you create an account and use AuthorImpact, we collect: • Your name and email address • Information you provide in the book intake form (your book topic, goals, and target audience) • Your writing drafts and research notes saved inside the platform • Basic usage data (e.g. when you last signed in)

How we use your information

We use your information only to: • Generate your personalised book outline • Save your writing progress so you can return to it • Send you emails about your account and the AuthorImpact product (you can unsubscribe at any time) • Improve the platform We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with servers based in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Email communications

By creating an account, you may receive transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, writing reminders) and product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or replying and asking to be removed.

Your rights

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and associated data To exercise any of these rights, reply to any email from us or contact hello@impactgrouppublishing.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice inside the platform.
